Support for Paranormal and Anomalous Experiences

Support for Paranormal and Anomalous Experiences

According to an article published in Frontiers Psychology by Thomas Rabeyron in 2022, approximately one third to half of people report having at least one type of paranormal or anomalous experience in their lifetime. There are a variety of paranormal or anomalous experiences people have reported throughout history and in my therapy practice. Some of these experiences include having psychic abilities such as telepathy, clairvoyance, remote viewing, clairaudience, precognition, and psychokinesis. Other experiences can also include awareness of reincarnation and memories of past lives, astral projection or out of body experiences (OBE), near death experiences (NDE), contact with entities who have died, contact with apparitions that seem otherworldly, contact with spirit guides and angels, mystical experiences such as feeling connected to God or Source, witnessing UFOs or UAPs, and contact with extraterrestrials, aliens and non-human intelligences.

Although some people report having paranormal and anomalous experiences when surveyed, many people don’t feel comfortable talking to others, especially mental health professionals, about these experiences because they worry that they will be seen as being crazy or just having an active imagination. This can make getting support to understand and sort out what these experiences mean difficult, which can lead to feeling alone and questioning one’s sanity. Some of these experiences can be wonderful and have a positive impact on our lives, but other experiences can be frightening and traumatic. These experiences can also leave us in a place of ontological shock, wondering what is real and creating a crisis where we have to re-evaluate our world view and our place in it.

With an open mind and heart, in a safe and non-judgemental environment, I am here to offer you support through talk therapy and/or hypnotherapy to process any unusual, paranormal or anomalous experiences you have had so that you can have more understanding, integration, growth, and peace. I would be honored to hold a safe space to hear more about your experiences and support you in your process.
